  1. 10:00 AM

    The shift starts. Nobody copies readings.

    Pick who runs each dispenser. Every nozzle's opening reading is carried over from the last shift's closing, so there is nothing to write down twice.

  2. 1:30 PM

    Dinesh takes a UPI payment and logs it himself.

    Staff get their own login on their own phone. Online payments and Pending Dues go in against their nozzle as they happen, not on slips in a drawer.

  3. 6:45 PM

    Sharma Transport fills 120 litres on credit.

    Recorded as a Pending Due on D-#404-HSD-1. It counts towards Ramesh's money at the close, and towards Sharma ji's balance until he pays.

  4. 11:00 PM

    The 5-litre test. Pass or fail, on the spot.

    Draw 5 L from each nozzle and note the measure. Every test is graded at ±25 ml per 5 L. The test litres go back in the tank, and the app takes them off Fuel Sold so no operator pays for them.

  5. 6:00 AM

    Petrol rate changes at 6 AM. Mid-shift.

    Enter the new rate and the readings at that moment. At close, litres before 6 AM are priced at the old rate and litres after at the new one. No calculator.

  6. 10:00 AM

    Handover. Two minutes, every nozzle checked.

    Type each closing reading and the cash. See Expected, Collected and the Difference for every dispenser, and exactly who is short.

  7. 10:15 AM

    Then remind Sharma ji, in one tap.

    Every customer's balance stays up to date. The WhatsApp reminder is written for you; you just press send.

What is Fuel Pump Book?

Fuel Pump Book is a petrol pump management app for India. It replaces the paper shift register: you type each nozzle's closing reading and the cash, and it works out Fuel Sold, the Expected Amount and the Difference for every nozzle and operator.

Do I need a computer?

No. It runs on any Android phone or iPhone in the browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app. It also works on a laptop or computer if you prefer a bigger screen.

How does it calculate the shift sale?

Fuel Sold = Closing Reading − Opening Reading − Test litres. Expected Amount = Fuel Sold × the rate. Collected = Cash + Online + Pending Dues. Difference = Expected − Collected. If the Difference is zero the shift shows Settled; otherwise it shows Short by Rs.X on the exact nozzle.

What happens to the 5-litre test fuel?

Test fuel is poured back into the tank, but the meter keeps counting it. Fuel Pump Book takes the test litres off Fuel Sold automatically, so your operator is never charged for test fuel. Each test is graded pass or fail at ±25 ml per 5 litres.

How do I track credit (udhar) customers?

Record a Pending Due when a customer takes fuel on credit. Fuel Pump Book keeps each customer's balance, records payments when they pay, and lets you send a WhatsApp reminder with one tap.

How much does it cost?

The first month is free and you don't need to pay to start. After that, Standard is ₹100 per nozzle and Pro is ₹149 per nozzle. A pump with 4 nozzles pays ₹400 a month on Standard or ₹596 a month on Pro. Bigger stations can ask for a Custom plan on a call.
